MEMBERS

 

image029  Thorsten Wagener. I am an Associate Professor of Hydrology in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. I studied civil engineering at the University of Siegen, Delft University of Technology and Imperial College London. I joined Penn State in 2004 after spending 2 years as a postdoc at SAHRA (University of Arizona, USA). [thorsten at engr.psu.edu] [CV]

 

 

 

  Keith Sawicz (PhD; MS, 2009). I obtained a dual major degree in civil engineering and environmental engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY, and joined Penn State in the Fall of 2007 to pursue a Masters degree for which I investigate the issue of hydrologic similarity. I finished my Masters degree in 2009 and am now working towards a PhD on the topic of catchment classification.

 

 

 

  Christa Kelleher (PhD; MS, co-advised with M. Gooseff, 2009)I graduated with a B.S. degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Lafayette College in May 2008.  I began my Masters study in fall 2009, working with the MOCHA project.  My research focuses on the impact of climate change on headwater streams.

 

Mary Beth Paskewicz (BS). I am a freshman in Civil and Environmental Engineering and am working on understanding historical changes to streamflow across Pennsylvania since summer 2009.
